The Holy Bible contains everything that the believer needs to be able to be an overcomer. However according to I Corinthians 2:14 the Word of God must be spiritually discerned, therefore teachers are necessary to assist in getting the believers to fully understand God’s Word.
It is important to realize that doctrines cannot be built around single verses of scripture, but must be assembled using various and related parts of the Holy Bible.
Isaiah 28:9-10
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
